Speak Global English

A global language for global business.

The English used in global business is nothing like the English you learned in school. According to a study done by David Graddol of the British Council, 96% of English conversations worldwide include at least one non-native speaker. Still, we continue to teach and model “proper” English, defined as being the UK or US standard.

It’s time for a revolution.

Communication is no longer about being “correct” every time. It’s about being understood. Every variety of English, whether the “native” US or UK varieties, the “nativized” Singaporean or Indian Englishes, or the lingua franca varieties being used across borders in places like Europe are equally valid.

No one owns the English language.

Join the international companies and individuals who are embracing this change and committing themselves to erasing the barriers and prejudices in our communication.
